There is nothing I enjoy more than a letter from the Kurn Hattin Homes for Children. I recognize it easily by the color of the envelope and its logo. Inside is a message from the Development Office stating that a donation has been made to the Homes in my honor. It doesn't say the amount, but it does give the name and the address of the person who donated it. I always send a thank-you note expressing my gratitude. How kind when you make an honorary or memorial donation to Kurn Hattin to help the boys and girls there!
An honorary donation brings such joy to the person who is being honored. A memorial donation is a dignified and fitting way to remember somebody whose life had a special meaning for you. And best of all, theses gifts provide money for the boys and girls who depend upon our charity at the children's home.
As the pandemic continues, let's make 2021 bright by making a gift in honor of somebody you know who is living or in memory of somebody who is deceased.
