Charity is Courageous.

The card read: "Dear Father Harlow and friends: Thank you so much for the amazing new stuff you gave us!"

The inside of the card had three beautiful hearts colored yellow, with green leaves in a purple hand-drawn text. The "stuff" was Christmas presents that were collected by parishioners at the Holy Cross Church in Morrisville, VT this Christmas. Because of the COVID vacation restrictions at the children's home, the kids received their Christmas presents when they returned back to Kurn Hattin after having had vacation with their families. That made it an even more welcomed surprise for them when they saw their presents in their cottages.

Our St. Nicholas Project donors are so amazing. Their devotion to the Kurn Hattin Homes for Children and the boys and girls makes the work of doing charity all the more meaningful.

Although it's March, finding this thank-you card today reminded me of the joy of being a benefactor and the constant commitment it takes to being charitable. It takes courage to be charitable! Because, believe it or not, there are many people in the world who are not charitable.

So a huge thank you to all of the "friends" from Holy Cross Church in Morrisville and beyond who made such charitable sacrifices for the boys and girls at the Kurn Hattin Homes for Children. Please be courageous and help us with a charitable donation today! God bless you!
