I am always touched by our St. Nicholas Project donors. They are the best! They support the children in ways that are so humble because the children will probably never meet them. Our donors are motivated by love to provide material and financial donations to support the boys and girls at the Kurn Hattin Homes for Children. One of our donors, Phyllis, explained why she gives to Kurn Hattin through the St. Nicholas Project's outreach efforts:
"I kept thinking [my donation] is not much, but every little bit helps. And maybe it will be a little bit of help in relieving some stress that could be taken out on a child. It might be just that little bit of help that makes a little less stress. Wouldn't it be something if my [donation] went to that family? When I give to places, I think about giving to places that are real in our own state. I like that all the money goes to the children; not like other places that don't put all the money toward the charity."
All donations received through The St. Nicholas Project go directly to the Kurn Hattin Homes for Children. We are not set up to receive financial donations. We pay from own personal resources all the costs for any promotional event, fundraiser, printing materials, etc. Why do we do that? Because we want 100% of your donation to go to the children's home. Donors like Phyllis appreciate that, too!
